Well done, if you are reading this then you have completed the first part of your own Personal Underwater Journey, you are now on the brink of taking your first steps as a PADI Professional. It is an extensive couse with 8 written theory exams and open / confined water evaluations. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. All classroom training conducted conveniently in the modern classrooms within Dive Community's new Dive Centre in Kata, Phuket.

As an experienced PADI Rescue Diver, you may want to take your next step, GO PRO and become a scuba diving professional with the PADI Dive Master Phuket Thailand training course and there is no better place to do it than Phuket, Thailand. You will increase your scuba diving knowledge to the GO PRO instructor level, refine your skills to demonstration standard, learn how to manage and care for divers, and develop your leadership abilities. For some the PADI Divemaster course training is the first step in their GO PRO scuba diving career PADI Scuba Instructor. For others it is just an opportunity for self improvement while having a lot of fun during your vacations in Phuket Thailand. This is your first step in becoming a dive professional.

Become a Dive Professional

The PADI Thailand Phuket Dive Master course training qualifies to do the following:

• Work at dive centres and on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations
• Assist PADI instructors with students training courses
• Lead PADI Scuba Divers on guided tours
• Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers
• Teach PADI Discover Snorkelling programs
• Conduct PADI Scuba Review programs for certified scuba divers training
• Lead certified scuba divers on Discover Local Diving training experiences
• Teach PADI Thailand Emergency First Response Courses Phuket after successful completion of the GO PRO EFRI course (Emergency First Response Instructor course training) continuing education for you to Go Pro with us in Phuket Thailand

What you will do ?

• Learn dive leadership through classroom and independent study sessions
• Complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water
• Training exercises to test organizational and problem solving abilities
• An internship or series of practical training exercises

I am ready to become a Dive Professional, what do I need to start?
You need to be a  PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent, successful completion of a sanctioned CPR program within the past 24 months (for example: PADI EFR) min age: 18 years, medical clearance signed by a physician, 40 logged dives*, your own complete dive equipment

Theory training sessions take place at Dive Community's 5 Star IDC Facility / Education Centre in Kata Phuket and confined water sessions at our training pool in the heart of Kata

The absolute minimum time for the course is 10 days and it is generally less stressful, but not essential, to take 3 to 4 weeks. Year-round the PADI Divemaster course is typically combined with 8 inclusive Phuket Scuba Diving Daytrips and unlimited beach dives. From November to April you can also combine it with a Similan Islands / Koh Bon Thailand liveaboard safari during your scuba diving internship / course with us here in Kata Phuket, Thailand

You will need your own PADI Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, the Divemaster Manual, the Diving Knowledge Workbook, RDP Table and RDP Wheel, we supply you the Divemaster manual included in the price of the course and can supply the remaining materials at a special Dive Community internship price for students.

OK, what is included, what will I do and how much does it cost ?
You will do a  minimum of  8 Open Water Dives, a minimum of  6 pool sessions, a minimum of 9 theory lessons, tank and weight rental, Divemaster Manual and Divemaster Video, you can take this program as an Internship where you work with us all day every day or you can decide to take it at a more leisurely pace and complete the component parts of the course in your own time (minimum 2 weeks. if pre-study for Divemaster Exams has been completed)

What Is Next ?
As an experienced PADI Divemaster you can progress to instructor level by becoming a PADI Assistant Instructor. Most candidates take the whole GO PRO "IDC" which means they follow the Assistant Instructor training Course immediately with the IDC Thailand Phuket PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor course training. Stay in Thailand or return and continue your professional GO PRO scuba diving training education!
