new boat that act as a
dive platform stationed in the Similan Islands
to which guests are transferred daily by
speedboat, so you can get on or off whenever you
want. No other boat offers you quite as much
flexibility.

South Siam III is joined by
new guests join on a daily basis.
It is a good option
for budget travellers who are short of time and
do not mind a busier boat. The 30 metre long
Thailand liveaboard diving boat is built to
handle large numbers of divers. There is a very
big shaded area for relaxing and eating meals on
the upper deck, a large sundeck with sun
loungers and an air-conditioned saloon with
TV/DVD and music system. All cabins have sea
views and individually controlled air
conditioning, they are pleasantly decorated and
each bed has it's own reading lamp.
You won't get to visit Richelieu Rock and Koh
Tachai, but you can dive at Koh Bon with manta
rays if you include a Wednesday or Sunday in
your itinerary.
Finally, if you're a snorkeller or non-diver,
the trip accommodates you equally as well as the
divers, and trips onto the islands' white sand
beaches are provided if you'd like to do some
beachcombing.

and six twin bed cabins on the main deck, and
six more twin bed cabins on the lower deck.

Itinerary options:
Cruise price includes: cabin
accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast,
lunch, dinner, snacks, coffee, tea, soft drinks,
and water, dives, customer diving insurance,
tanks, weights and weightbelts, torches,
experienced English-speaking divemaster(s), and
return transfers to the boat from Phuket or Khao
Lak hotels.
Cruise price excludes (where applicable):
Similan National Park fees (US$ 5-10 per day),
scuba equipment, dive insurance, alcoholic
drinks.
Destinations: This boat stays at the
Similan Islands every day of the week except for
Wednesdays and Sundays, when it visits Koh Bon
Island.
How to get there: The South Siam III trip
starts with an early morning minibus transfer to
Tap Lamu, Khao Lak in Phang Nga (two hour
journey), where a speed boat is waiting to take
you out to the dive boat (approximately one
hour). The return transfer is available for all
hotels in Phuket and Khao Lak. For more
